+# NetworkManager {#sec-networkmanager}

+To facilitate network configuration, some desktop environments use
+NetworkManager. You can enable NetworkManager by setting:

+some desktop managers (e.g., GNOME) enable NetworkManager automatically

+NetworkManager is controlled using either `nmcli` or `nmtui`
